Generator Dublin is a centrally located hostel in Dublin’s Smithfield neighbourhood, adjacent to the Jameson Distillery and within walking distance of Temple Bar, offering easy access to Dublin Airport. The building features reclaimed wood, exposed brickwork, and original stonework that reflect its industrial character.
Rooms include private twin rooms with two single beds or bunk beds, quadruple rooms with four beds, various dormitory options ranging from four to ten beds including female-only dorms, as well as single and king-bed rooms. Each room has parquet or hardwood floors and heating. Private bathrooms are available in most room types and feature walk-in showers or bathtubs, some dormitories have shared bathrooms nearby. Rooms come equipped with flat-screen TVs, electronic safes or lockers for storage, hair dryers, charging stations with USB ports by the bed headboards, feather pillows, bed linen supplied throughout the property, and towels either provided free or available at an additional charge.

AGE RESTRICTIONS: In Ireland unaccompanied 16 to 18 only are permitted to stay in private rooms. To do so, they must present Generator's parental/guardian consent form and a copy of valid photo identification from the parent/guardian. Unaccompanied under 18's are not allowed to stay in shared rooms, unless they are part of a group that has booked out the entire shared room. The group leader must provide the required documentation to Generator. Failure to comply with these policies will result in automatic cancellation of the booking with no refund. Guests violating these rules will not be permitted to check into the Hostel.
PET POLICY: We would welcome a dog on property but only when staying in a private room, and subject to a fee per dog per Stay. Only Dog under 75lbs./ 34kg.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. At Generator Dublin, you may use the Special Requests box during booking or directly contact the property using the contact details provided in your confirmation.
